Adoption Process

We invest a lot of time and resources to provide our customers with a very special Bernedoodle or Poodle puppy for their family.  You’ve invested a lot of time to decide on what breed puppy is right for your family, and then spent even more time scrolling through adorable pictures of French Bulldog puppies (because they’re so cute! We can totally relate…), and then researched for a breeder you wanted work with; and found us.

Our adoption process starts with an application. The application gives us a chance to get to know you and for you to get to know us.

In many cases a Puppy Application is our first exposure to you.  We want to make sure our puppies are going to families that will give the little snuggle-bugs as much love and care as we do while they are in our home.

If you are a breeder interested in one of our puppies to add to your program, please send us an email for more info about our pups.

Our adoption process is designed to gather information about what your ideal puppy is (color, size, male/female, temperament, etc), and for us to get an idea of the life the puppy will be sharing with you.  It’s also a chance for you to ask us questions and learn more about our program, dogs, puppies, and family.

Puppies go home at 8 weeks!

Puppy pickup time on site will be scheduled ahead of time.

If you are flying in to pick up your puppy the closest commercial airport is Mitchell International in Milwaukee, WI.

If you are flying private the closest airport is Waukesha County Airport (KUES).  We will deliver the puppy to the airport upon your arrival for you to start your cuddles!

We do offer a flight-nanny if you are out of state and unable to pick up your puppy personally.  Let us know and we will take care of the arrangements.

Payment for the puppy must be received before the puppy can leave our property.

Puppy Adoption Process

Step 1

The Puppy process begins with the Puppy Application.

Step 2

After we receive your puppy application we will schedule a phone interview.  This is our chance to learn a little a bit more about you and what you’re looking for in a puppy; and for you to learn as much as you want about us.  The phone interview usually takes about 1/2 hour; but puppies are our favorite subject so calls have run long once or twice…

Step 3

You are put on our reservationlist. Our adoption process is designed to gather information about what your ideal puppy is (color, size, male/female, temperament, etc), and for us to get an idea of the life the puppy will be sharing with you.  It’s also a chance for you to ask us questions and learn more about our program, dogs, puppies, and family.

Step 4

We notify you when your puppy’s litter is born and send out pictures of the puppies!  Puppy selections are made based on your reservation-spot for the litter and our recommendations based on temperament and your stated desires.  Puppy selection takes place around 7 weeks.  We work with you to identify which puppy will work best for you family.  We consider your family wants and needs and also consider the puppy’s wants and needs.  It’s our job to make sure you have a perfect match! We are also to FaceTime with your puppy and send additional pictures every chance we get.
